Limburg House Bed & Breakfast

 The Limburg House was built in 1905 by Paul Stillman.  Dr. J.I. Limburg M.D. purchased the home in 1937, where his medical offices were on the second floor.  The innkeepers, Donna and Eldon Nelson, purchased the home in 1990.  They, along with their children, Shawn and Shane, then began renovations on the home.  By 1997, plans were underway to create a Bed and Breakfast.

Preservations to the mission oak staircase, hardwood floors, and woodwork were completed by the innkeepers.  In the parlor and formal dining room there are Victorian Antiques and a large display of Dr. Limburg's surgical instruments.  Check us out at http://showcase.netins.net/web/limburghouse/.

Oak Tree Hideaway Bed & Breakfast

Pete and Duane Russell have opened a bed and breakfast, the Oak Tree Hideway, at their home at 1103 W Lincolnway in Jefferson.  The Russells promise "a touch of nature within the city" at their location across from Greene Couny Medical Center. 

The Oak Tree Hideway has two guest rooms.  The Dick and Jane room, with a queen size bed, is decorated with framed easel-size pages from the old Dick and Jane readers.  The Lincoln Highway room, with a full size bed, is decorated in a Lincoln Highway motif.  The guest rooms share a full bath. 

Breakfast is a hot meal, continental , or fast and "on the go."  Guest can enjoy breakfast in the dining room, or in the three-season room, which is nestled in the woods.

We think this is a lovely setting and we'd like to share it.  We have peace and quiet at a convenient location, " Pete Russell said.
